The Guesthouse on Main, in its relaxing garden setting, is located just off the main street of Kuruman, on the road (N14) from Vryburg and is close to restaurants, convenience stores, petrol stations and fast food outlets.
Our tastefully decorated suites have either two single beds or a double bed. There is ample off-street parking. Each room has a fridge, kettle, a television with satellite channels is air-conditioned. Each suite has its own entrance.
You can visit the (natural surface water-well delivering 20 to 30 million litres of water per day) The Eye / "Die Oog" of Kuruman, the Moffat Mission, the Billy Duvenhage Nature Reserve, the Kalahari Raptor Rehabilitation Centre and the Truce Tree (dating back to rebellion of 1914).
You may also use Kuruman as a stop-off on the way to The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, the Augrabies Falls and southern Namibia. Mine excursions can also be organised (approximately 50km away at Kathu). The Wonderwerk Caves are a short drive away (but are currently closed to visitors due to collapses). Or play a round of golf at the hightly-rated golf course at Kathu.
Or just enjoy some Kalahari hospitality over a cup of tea at the nursery.
