Hideaway Cape Town offers self catering accommodation in the exclusive suburb of Llandudno, 15 minutes drive from Cape Town. Llandudno is a beautiful bay with one of the most gorgeous beaches in South Africa.

Hideaway offers spectacular 180 degree views of the bay, beach and surrounding mountains from the apartments.The apartments range in size from studio apartments to two bedroom apartments. All units have terraces with outside tables and braais to maximise the views.

Each apartment is comfortably furnished with a modern, beach style decor. We are family friendly and pet friendly (upon request). We are happy to provide baby cots, high chairs and extra beds to accommodate extra children. All apartments have access to free Wi-Fi and Netflix on flat screen TVs. We offer free parking on a first come first served basis.

There is plenty of safe, off-street parking on our street. We have wet suits, boogie boards and beach towels for you to use on the beach. We can also book tennis for you on the community courts which are a few minutes walk from the apartments. Tennis rackets can be provided. There is a lovely children's playground a couple of minutes from the apartments.

Our apartments are cleaned daily by our housekeeping team and bed linen and towels are changed every two days. We offer a laundry service should you need to wash your clothes during your stay. We have babysitters on site should you wish to make use of that service.We are located 30 minutes drive from the airport. Cape Town city centre is a 15 minute drive away.

Camps Bay and Hout Bay are 5 minutes away. Both villages have fabulous beaches and many shops bars and great restaurants.

No sleep; no security; absolutely no interest from the proprietor.
No stars - just had to enter in order to submit this review.



Nice weekend away by

Llandudno is a beautiful part of Cape Town and the beach is perfect.
We really enjoyed our stay and were made to feel very welcome. The views from the house are spectacular and sundowners are a must.

We had a divine holiday at Hideaway. The owners were lovely and the apartments had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartments have just been refurbished and we werecthecfirdt people to stay in the new Sea View One bedroom. I highly recommend this unit. We have a baby and we were provided with a cot and high chair on request. The outside brain area is great and we spend most evenings sat out watching the sun go down. We liked having Netflix on the TV although we didn't get chance to use it much. The bedroom got a bit hot at night but the housekeepers brought us a big fan when we mentioned it. The pool is great for kids and long enough to do laps. I highly recommend staying here.



False advertising by

No pool as advertised
Oven was not useable
Owners did not answer calls for 4 days
No Wifi as advertised
No Netflix as advertised
Pictures on Internet of rooms deceiving
Other guests we spoke to felt cheated and were unhappy
We felt we were deceived, as money was paid upfront and the owners made no effort to respond to our numerous calls or check on us at all
They tried to give us a one room with sleeper even though we booked a two bedroom.
Do not recommend Hideaway at all.
The agents that booked us Safarinow were great in trying to assist us, even they could not reach owners, they even said they would refund us their portion of the fee.
