On the main Vumba road on the crest of the hill, sometimes below the cloud sometimes above and other times enveloped in the mist, Hycroft Lodge is a convenient double-storey self-catering holiday home.

Hycroft accommodates six guests in three double bedrooms, with two bathrooms. The living room comprises of a lounge with dining room and fireplace, the kitchen comprises of a two plate gas stove, microwave, slower cooker and smaller amenities.

Satellite TV is accessible, please bring your own smart card and decoder. Light meals and small confectioneries are available, please inquire. Groups are most welcome as there are camping sites and numbers can be catered for at your convenience.

With lots to do, see and explore, this is your dream holiday home experience.

A beautiful old style English cottage in the lush of an African garden. Peaceful at night, easy to reach, not expensive and conveniently located as it is very close to the Botanical Garden, Forest Hill restaurant and Leopard Rock. I recommend it for a week end getaway from Mozambique (130km from Chimoio), that is what I did myself. Here you can buy plants and a delicious homemade honey! And if you like horses, Peter will take you into the forest or to see giraffes and zebras on a horseback at Leopard Rock! I really enjoyed my ride!

Old fashoned Overpriced by

The location is excellent.
The property is old and not well maintained.
There is everithing but everithing has defects.
It is overpriced.
