IMPRESSIONS RETREAT BEWERTUNGEN (93 %) Loved it by Kirsty Deall, South Africa 08 August 2011 Very good! So quiet and isolated. The perfect place to unwind and lovely walking trails. All facilities required like pool and braai place. Our only 'problem' was the shower that couldnt stay at a constant temperature. It was either too hot to stand under or freezing and when the cabin is already chilly at night, all you want is a warm shower. The food provided was delicious and portions were huge. All in all, we were looked after very well and loved the weekend as a whole! The privacy was fantastic as it feels like you are all alone with your own jacuzzi and no one else around to bother you. We were worried that the road might be a bit bad for a small car, but the little Fiat had no problem on the road at all.
You won't believe the view. Large deck with comfortable chairs. You won't believe the privacy, silence peace and quiet. It felt like we were the only two people on the planet. Bird watching paradise and in the evenings as the sun sets you can hear the Jackals whilst enjoying a Sundowner in the Jacuzzi.
The cabin has everything you can need and more. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom roomy. The breakfast we booked as an extra is a must. The freshest tastiest breads you can imagine.

Only thing that needs a little work is the shower, heat and pressure we not so good. But the stay was lovely . The kitchen had all the small details, tools and amenities that made your stay very comfortable.
Unfortunately the jacuzzi was not heated for us and could not get it working till the following night.
The shower head is very poor, caused a lot of frustration and the hot cold water was a bit better once you opened the warm water in the bathroom sink.
Overall I loved the privacy and would love this cabin in summer IF the shower is fixed. IMPRESSIONS RETREAT LAGE
