In the Vineyard cottages are situated on Uitkyk farm, a small family-owned vineyard and olive farm nestled at the foot of the Simonsberg Mountains. We are surrounded by lush vineyards and stunning 360-degree scenery. Centred between Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl and only a 45-minute drive from the city of Cape Town, In the Vineyard takes you away from the busy city life and offers peace and relaxation.

While staying in one of our homely cottages, you will experience the feeling of a working farm, but will still enjoy the beauty and peace of nature that surrounds you. Our two cottages, namely The Vineyard cottage and The Olive cottage each accommodates up to five guests in two bedrooms, with a choice of a king-size bed or two single beds in the room. We also have an additional double sleeper couch in the living area.

We are child-friendly and your little ones can enjoy playing on a safe farmyard, with security fencing all around. Each cottage features a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and a bath, a TV with DStv and a Jetmaster in the living area. Braai facilities are available on the patio and secure parking is also provided.

Activities include taking leisurely walks through the vineyards, swimming in the cement dam, enjoying wine tasting at some of our famous South African wine estates, and visiting the nearby Crocodile Farm, Butterfly World or Lion Park.

regtig wonderlik gasvrij en erg behulpsaam mooi gelegen in de midde van de wijnlands het was heerlijk.Sal zeker nog eens terug gaan.

Really welcoming and very helpful . Situated in the middle of the beautiful winelands . Was delicious . Will go back again .


Lovely stay by

Joubert and Marlene were the most accommodating and friendly hosts during our recent stay at In the Vineyard. The cottages are situated right next to the vineyards and olive grove, with a fantastic stoep with braai.

It is really well situated right between Paarl and Stellenbosch, so traveling around the area is really easy.

I'd happily stay here again.



A Beautiful, quaint cottage - well worth a visit! by

We had a lovely and fun stay at the Vineyard. Marlene is an excellent host and did her utmost to ensure we were all comfortable. The kiddies even had a chance to feed the chickens and ride on a little kids tractor. I would recommend it for anyone!
