Ivemvane

Ivemvane Mountain Lodge is private, exclusive, fully equipped self-catering lodge offering all the comforts of home in the heart of the malaria-free Waterberg Mountains.

Ivemvane Mountain Lodge is situated on the mountain top with spectacular views of both sunrise and sunsets, with a view across the rim-flow swimming pool over the bushveld and mountains beyond. It has three en-suite rooms with a fully equipped self-catering kitchen and open plan lounge dining area. There is a fire pit and braai area and a separate scullery including dishwasher.

Less than three hours drive from Johannesburg, Ivemvane is situated in over 1300ha of natural splendour; with mountain bike, 4x4 and hiking trails begging to be explored. There is a variety of wildlife including eland, kudu, waterbuck, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, bushbuck, zebra, impala, blesbuck, duiker, warthog, and bushpig. There are also monkeys and baboons, a variety of birds, trees and insects as well as occasional sightings of the more elusive species to be encountered along the way. We supply a road map on arrival and encourage you to explore at your leisure. There are plenty of photographic opportunities in a place that time seems to have forgotten.
