Jambo Beach Bungalows is one of the few places in Paje which is located directly on the beach. At this idyllic location guests can listen to the sound of the ocean waves while chilling out in a hammock, with a cold drink in hand.

Accommodation at Jambo Beach Bungalows consists of bandas made of palm leaves and equipped with fans, shelves and mosquito nets. There are communal toilets and showers available, as well as safety deposit boxes.

An on-site restaurant serves tasty food and fresh seafood that has been caught just a few hundred meters away. The bartenders at the beach bar provide guests with music all day, the coldest beers, the tastiest cocktails, lovely smoothies, juices and more. Jambo has a big beach party every Friday, where people from all over the world dance barefoot in the white sands.

Beach volleyball is available on site and for those who are into water sports, Jambo can arrange kite surfing, snorkelling or diving tours, as well as dolphin watching and more.

We spent 3 weeks during December 2015 - Jan 2016 at Jambo.  The location is absolutely perfect.  We were right on the beach and it was beautiful. Omar makes the best cocktails in the world and he is truly a wonderful and friendly barman. But.... I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet holiday. There is constant noise coming from the bar area and Jambo Brothers next door, not to even mention the Friday night parties.  The music was so loud that our bed in the bungalow was vibrating. These parties carry on until 4 am in the morning. No one warned us about this when we made the booking and it was very disturbing.  The breakfast was also not great. You either get some pancakes or a very bland omelette with no fillings.  We tried very hard to get the chef to cook us a fried egg, but somehow that was too much of a tall order.  Their restaurant in general is not up to scratch and we didnt enjoy their food at all. Zanzibar is a lovely place to go and I would definitely visit the Island again.

I must say im happy i choose to stay there. Upon my arrival i was welcomed by a beautiful staff.Mu was my tour guide he is well trained and humble.As for the food.mmmmm. Jambo and Simba gardens are my home now. I made a lot of friends. As fot the Friday night party i danced until the morning.I went to teddy's place as well and the rock .thank you jambo for hospitality. Asantesana.
