Jameson Inn is situated near the beachfront in East London and offers the ideal budget accommodation near the CBD and all its various amenities. Jameson Inn offers thirty rooms, of which 12 feature air-conditioning. In addition, there are also three self-catering holiday flats with a swimming pool that can accommodate three guests each.

All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a shower or a bath, televisions with DStv, stocked honesty bar fridges on request and tea and coffee-making facilities. There are two interleading double rooms with beautiful sea views from a private balcony - ideal as a family suite - and we also have suitable facilities for conferences and various functions.

East London is all about its long, white stretches of sandy beach that appeal to surfers, swimmers and sun worshippers alike. The beaches here are some of the finest in the world and a few, such as Nahoon Reef, are a surfer's paradise and host to international surfing competitions. East London's easy access to other areas like the Wild Coast, and inland to the Amatola Mountains, also makes it a popular destination.

After booking and paying for our accommodation 3 months before travelling we were disgusted when we went to book into our 3 bedroom holiday unit to be told it was else where. We were taken down a street to a "house" nowhere near Jameson Inn. The condition was appauling so we refused to stay there for 2 nights. I have followed up this problem trying to recoup some of our lost money as we had to find suitable accommodation late in the afternoon for 6 people. I recommend that you be very careful when making a booking with Jameson Inn that you know what you are getting. Very disappointed. Noeleen Sneath Australia

First impression of Jameson Inn,the place was clean and well put together looked even better than on the website itself. Peaceful and relaxing environment, enjoyed the filling breakfasts we woke up to each and every day. We would definitely return to Jameson Inn.
