Kibo Gästehaus

Kibo Guest House is a self-catering guest house located in the Amboseli National Park, Kajiado District, of the Rift Valley Province. The park is 230 km from Nairobi and lies close to the Tanzanian border with magnificent views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.

Kibo Guest House comprises two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, and an open-plan lounge and dining area. The first bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed, and the second bedroom contains twin single beds. The bathroom contains a bath, shower, and a toilet. Bed linen, bath towels and complimentary toiletries are provided.

The kitchen is well equipped and includes a gas stove, fridge, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery, and glasses. The dining area leads off the lounge. The lounge leads through doors to a veranda. A caretaker is available.

The park offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru, and large elephant herds are often viewed in an unusual swamp habitat. More than 425 species of birds have been recorded, and plenty of wildlife species can be spotted including lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, zebra, hippo, black rhino, Maasai giraffe, oryx, wildebeest, gerenuk, impala and Grant's gazelle.
