Kiewietjie Cottage is located in the beautiful seaside village of Sedgefield and offers guests three comfortably furnished self-catering units within walking distance of the lake.Each unit has his own private entrance and can accommodate between three and six people. The kitchens are equipped with microwaves, stoves with oven, toasters and kettles. Fridge-freezers are available in the all the units. There is a TV with DStv access in each unit. Two of the units have two bedrooms with a double bed in one room and two single beds in the second room. A sleeper couch is available for an extra person. The bathroom consists of a bath and a shower. The Bachelor Unit offers a double, a single bed and a bathroom with a shower only. Each unit has a private braai area on the patio, which overlooks Sedgefield Lake and the Outeniqua Mountains. Parking is available in a garage or covered carport.Sedgefield borders the Goukamma Nature Reserve and the Wilderness National Park, offering guests ample opportunity for birdwatching and walks through indigenous fauna and flora. Guests can also do bass fishing at Groenvlei Lake or go swimming and fishing at the Swartvlei Lake.
