Kings Castle is situated in Polokwane - the capital of the Limpopo Province and formerly known as Pietersburg. It is the cultural hub of the region and lies halfway between Pretoria and the Zimbabwean border. It is a city graced with wide streets, green spaces and a vivid mix of jacaranda and coral trees that are a sight to behold during spring.
We have a total of 16 rooms comprising two Single Rooms with en-suite bathrooms offering showers, 14 Double Rooms and one Family Room. 11 Rooms have double beds and two rooms have twin beds. The remaining Family Room has a double bed and a single bed. Our luxurious rooms are on the first floor and have balconies overlooking the courtyard of the guest house.
The city's museum is home to the Hugh Exton Photographic Museum with a collection of over 22 000 glass negatives that capture the initial five years of the city on celluloid. There is also an art gallery in the Library Gardens right in the centre of town and it is definitely worth a visit. The Savannah Centre, with its wide offering of shops and relatively peaceful atmosphere, is a great pit stop to stock up on essentials or for a bite to eat.
