King's Garden is located in Harrismith and overlooks the town and King's Hill; where many legendary battles were fought during the Anglo-Boer War. A serene, tranquil and peaceful oasis for the weary traveller has been created, allowing guests to take a moment to relax in complete luxury and comfort.

There are a total of five luxury rooms, three on the ground floor and two on the first floor. On the ground floor, one room has an en-suite bathroom and a private entrance from the beautiful garden. The other two rooms are in a separate wing with its own bathroom, ideal for a small family. The two rooms on the first floor have spectacular views, each with a small lounge and a shared bathroom, again ideal for a small group or family.

Guests can enjoy the garden or the guest lounge where they can watch DStv or just relax in the sunny garden room that has braai facilities. The garden also has access to King's Hill where guests can enjoy scenic walks and explore previous Anglo-Boer War ruins and battlegrounds.

Very Disappointed by

When we arrived at the address of Kings Garden, there was no mention of the fact that Kings Garden existed.  A 'For Sale' sign indicated that the property is for sale.  I chose Kings Garden for the beauty described in the advertisement but we were accommodated at Amadudu.  This was another disappointment for us.  No light bulbs in the lights next to the bed. No TV reception (only channel 100). The main light above the bed did not work. Only the light above the bathroom area of Room 3.  I paid extra for Kings Garden but what I received was not worth even half of what Amadudu charges.  I would recommend that both Amadudu as well as Kings Garden be investigated.  SafariNow does not need accommodation like this on their website.

Ons is uiters teleurgesteld. Ons bespreking by Kings Garden was bevestig en betaal, en toe ons daar kom, het hul nie vir ons plek nie en is ons sommer ingeboek by 'n plek wat ons glad nie aangestaan het nie. Hoekom moes ons vir 'n goeie plek soos Kings Garden betaal en dan sommer sonder ons medewete ons na 'n derderangse plek verskuif. Die plek is onnet, gordyn hang aan twee ringe, die res op die grond. Daar is geen water by die toiletgebruik, en die plek ruik na iets wat lank toegestaan het sonder besoekers. Ons het gery, en elders gaan oorslaap, en die dame het belowe julle sal ons 'n refund gee - ek het ons bankbesonderhede vir haar ge sms, maar ons het nog geen terugebetaling gekry nie. Julle kan nie verwag enige mens moet met sulke behandeling tevrede wees nie.Rika en Gys Cloete.
