Rudiger Lutz, Vryheid It was in an ideal position for participating in the marathon by Pierre Du Randt 17 July 2017 All appliances and furniture were functional and the beds clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. However, the place could do with a lot of modernising. Everything looked like it was from the eighties, including the rusting hot-plate. Drains were half-blocked and doors swollen so that they were difficult to open and close. A pleasant surprise in Knysna by Lyn Holness 25 June 2018 Our stay at Lakeside Motel was a great experience. The owner, Andre, was welcoming and helpful, the accommodation and facilities were much more than anticipated, the convenience of the location wonderful, and the price very good.
