Knysna Luxury Accommodation is situated in the safe and upmarket security village of Thesen Island, with 24-hour security, which is on the Knysna Estuary. It is close to Knysna Town and all amenities, as well as being within walking distance to the Knysna Quays where you will find a fine selection of restaurants and shops.

Thesen Island itself boasts a quaint and interesting shopping village with some of the finest restaurants, clothing and homeware shops in Knysna. The beautiful security village is made up of small islands joined by bridges with waterways dividing them, and there is direct boat access to the Knysna Lagoon which is a watersport playground.

There is also a children's playground, eight-hole golf course, bird park and bicycle rentals within the village itself. A perfect home-away-from-home for a luxurious, comfortable and fun-filled holiday.

Unfortunately our stay was too short and we couldn't fully appreciate our wonderful setting. Saffron House and Thesen Island have so much to offer and we could barely make use of it all. We would love to return for a more leisurely holiday!

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Saffron House. It was everything that we had hoped for and was extremely well equipped and comfortable. The outlook was great and the house itself was impeccably neat and clean and very well situated - easy walking to the shops and restaurants and lovely walks round Thesen Island. A special word of thanks to Cica for the excellent service.

This accommodation offered us everything we needed for a comfortable, convenient and overall enjoyable stay in Knysna. Use of kayaks at no extra cost was a boon.

Just what we were looking for by

We loved the location and the accommodation. Very quiet and peaceful. It felt like were were staying in a small little town. Very neat overall - that includes the gardens which are kept tidy. Not much to suggest, but if I may suggest something, it will be that you get a tea pot, and a pair of scissors. I could not find any of these two items. But all in all it was a pleasant stay. And last but no least I must mention Danielle. She was very kind and helpful.

Enjoyed our stay. The unit is very neat and tidy. The estate is clean and beautiful and will definitely visit again.
