Kwamahla Lodge is situated in the North West Province, past the scenic town of Brits and the Hartbeespoort Dam. It is a mere one-hour drive from Pretoria and two hours from OR Tambo International Airport. Its close proximity to the world-renowned Sun City and Pilansberg National Park affords the guest the opportunity to experience the bush and wildlife at the lodge whilst staying in comfortable accommodation, or to slip away for a few hours and enjoy the entertainment and excitement at Sun City.
We offer five thatched chalets with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, nestled amongst indigenous Acacia trees. The kitchenettes are fully equipped including fridges and microwave ovens. Linen and towels are provided and four chalets have private braai areas. A swimming pool and a communal braai area at the pool will add to the enjoyment of your stay. There is also a rustic and secluded boma built around a lead wood tree, with bar and catering facilities. Other activities include mountain biking, volley ball and team building activities.
We have conference facilities for 30 people and for one-day conferences, 50 people can be accommodated. The fully air-conditioned conference venue is equipped with the most modern and sophisticated audio visual equipment as well as fax and Internet facilities to enable the corporate sector to conduct hassle free meetings and conferences in a tranquil bushveld environment. End of year functions for up to 50 people, weddings and receptions are catered. There are full bar facilities with DStv for the exclusive use of guests and conference groups. A restaurant is available for a minimum of 10 guests by prior arrangement.
For golfing enthusiasts, five internationally and nationally preferred golf courses are within easy reach of the lodge. The Vaalkop and Rooikoppies dams, as well as the winding Crocodile River are in close proximity to the lodge. Meet our six resident impala rams as they join the guests at the lodge at sunset and graze the lawns through the night.
