This charming cottage is located on the banks of Lake Zonk just outside of Mooi River and is ideal for a secluded getaway. The cottage has two bedrooms with double beds and a third bedroom with twin beds. There is a shared bathroom with a bath only.

The open-plan living area has a fireplace which is great on those chilly evenings. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen as well as microwave. Outside is a partially under-cover patio with braai facilities, perfect for relaxing near the lake. There is a dart board for some friendly competition and entertainment.

The cottage is on a bass dam and a row boat is provided for some outdoor activity. The area is also great for mountain biking and fly fishing. The Giant's Castle Nature Reserve is nearby with an abundance of rock art. Their restaurant is perfectly located for guests to view some endangered bird species busy feeding.

We stayed 2 nights. Very clean and spacious house.  Loved the fresh milk we got.  Nice place to stay when you just want to rest. No cell phone signal,  so nobody can disturb you.  My husband caught a lot of fish in the lake. Will definitely visit again.

We loved every aspect of this place. I would love to keep it a secret but this place is amazing for a family getaway that wants to enjoy some fishing, relaxing and family time! The entertainment area is well positioned and kitted for any event! Loved this place!! The only additional facility required is a shower to complete the layout and amenities!

We loved the seclusion of the cottage and the panoramic views are truly beautiful. We would gladly come back again and again if we cold. Kayaking on the dam was really wonderful too. Just a note for heavier set guests, the bath is quite small and there is no shower. It may be tricky for larger guests to comfortably bathe.
