Lalalapha, originally known as the Regent Hotel was established in 1904. Lalalapha provides secure, luxurious accommodation in an established setting, creating a relaxed environment for business traveller and tourist alike. The old hotel has been transformed to a modern luxury retreat situated in the main street of Glencoe. Glencoe is situated a mere 6km from Dundee and approximately 65km from Vryheid, Ladysmith and Newcastle. We are also situated in the heart of the historic battlefields like Isandlwana, Blood River, Rorkes Drift, Elandslaagte and the Talana Museum.
All Rooms are tastefully decorated and are equipped with air-conditioning, DSTV Bouquet, heaters, electric Blankets, coffee & tea making facilities and en-suite bathrooms with bath or shower. Our Conference Room can accommodate up to 75 guests school room and 110 cinema style. The Lapha can accommodate up to 130 people school room and 180 guest cinema style. Inkomfa the inter leading Venue into the Lapha can accommodate up to 120 people school room amd 170 people Cinema Style.
