La Maison Verte - The Green House

La Maison Verte - The Green House is an eco-friendly two-bedroom house situated in a quiet suburb of Knysna and is ideal for couples, small families or golfers.

The master bedroom occupies the entire top floor and is furnished with twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. There is also a very useful sofa bed. The en-suite bathroom has a heated towel rail and consists of a shower only. The room has a heater and opens onto a private deck with views of the lagoon, golf course and the Outeniqua Mountains.

The second bedroom is also furnished with twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed, and it has an en-suite bathroom with a shower; the room opens onto the deck and a washing machine is located in the bathroom. The entrance hall leads to an attractive open-plan living area and the kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a dining table. The lounge has a cosy wood-burning stove and is equipped with a TV with DStv and a DVD player. The lounge opens onto a furnished covered deck and swimming pool which also has a braai area. Guests can relax in the lovely garden and parking is available for two vehicles. The garden is walled and is safe for small children.

The house is situated close to the lagoon, Leisure Isle and the Knysna Golf Club. It is also on the road leading up to the Pezula Golf Club. Knysna has a variety of attractions and activities to keep everyone entertained and bars and restaurants are located nearby. Guests can go on one of the many walking routes and try to see the Knysna Loerie, visit the Knysna Elephant Park or the Featherbed Nature Reserve.
