Nestling in the shadows of the Waterberg mountains near Bela Bela/Warmbaths in the Limpopo Province, Thaba Pitsi is a malaria-free private game reserve of 500 hectares. It takes less than two hours to reach Thaba Pitsi from Johannesburg and less than one-and-a-half hours from Pretoria, travelling on the Polokwane, formerly Pietersburg, highway N1 North.Thaba Pitsi Country House & Bungalows self-catering units is housed in a farmhouse converted into a country house with modernity. It comprises five rooms, plus three family bungalows sleeping two adults and one or two children each, all of which offer a cosy African style and is tastefully decorated. The accommodation is available on a dinner, bed and breakfast, or self-catering, basis. There are barbecue facilities, a fireplace, a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi available for use by the guests.
