The Lavender Room is part of an old Cape Dutch-style house and is surrounded by a beautiful garden. The room is a great to relax in after a long day's work or travel. The Lavender Room is also ideal to use as a base from which to explore the majestic Eastern Free State. The comfortable and spacious non-smoking double room features a lovely en-suite bathroom, a private entrance and safe on-site parking.

We are situated in town, near major businesses, shops and the local gym. For the tourist and traveller, Harrismith is well-situated, with the wonders of the Eastern Free State and the Northern Drakensberg within 100 km.

Our overnight stay was pleasant and perfect. Thank you to the hosts that made us feel so at home.

Great hospitality! The room was quaint, comfortable and clean. Just disappointed that there was no TV when the website specifically said there was one in the room. Had I known I would not have stayed there. If you have no interest in a TV, then Lavender Room is highly recommended!

We spent a very pleasant night in the Lavender room and thoroughly enjoyed the old world feel. Our host could not have been more helpful. Would we recommend it ....absolutely.
