Come and experience the amazing scenery of the Prentjiesberg and Drakensberg. Lazy 8 River Lodge is situated 22km just outside of Ugie. Come unwind with the river flowing next to the house. We offer a variety of amazing outdoor activities.

Get yourself a guide and learn to Flyfish or for the more experienced explore the river yourself. We have 13km of our own private river full of wild rainbow trout, this is a variety of the Big and Small Mooiriver. We also offer guided horse tours on our friendly horses, ride along the river, take a ride to our amazing yellowwood forest, where there is an amazing waterfall and natural pool to swim in. For the more experienced we can take you to explore the mountain ranges. Or bring your own horse to enjoy your holiday with.

Our other activities include awesome 4x4 routes that are perfect for the 4x4 enthusiast or motorbikes are also welcome. Great mountain biking and hiking trail also available. Or Laze about on the river with one of our tubes. A variety of birdlife is also available. Our house is eco-friendly as the electricity is run by solar power. Fully self-catering and lovely luxury furnishing and finishes.
