Le Bonheur is particularly suited to couples who are looking for a romantic night of luxury away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Guests will not be distracted by the TV or anything to do with the kitchen sink. Accommodation is offered in two light and airy guest suites that are well insulated against the summer heat yet beautifully warm during cold winter snaps. Both suites have private entrances through beautiful gardens, and the queen-size brass beds are fitted with crisp white percale linen. The en-suite bathrooms are appointed with modern fittings and fluffy towels and guests have the choice of enjoying a lazy, candle-lit bath big enough for two or an invigorating shower. Le Bonheur is located within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and arts and crafts venues that McGregor is so famous for. Guests will be able to wander along the mountain paths admiring the beautiful Little Karoo fauna and flora and then relax outside their suite and be enthralled by the stunning mountain views, amazing night sky and enjoy the deep sense of peace and well-being.

The Johnsons are lovely hosts, and added those extra touches to make our wedding anniversary special. The room itself is private and is classy. We enjoyed our stay.

I can only give praise to Jen and her husband for helping to make our anniversary in McGregor an absolutely incredible experience. A lovely spacious room separate from the house with its own private entrance is exactly what we were looking for. The breakfast basket with freshly baked scones delivered to our door step was a wonderful touch. No need for us to try any other accommodation when we come back.
