Lemala Ngorongoro

Lemala Ngorongoro is an intimate, seasonal camp set in a delightful and ancient acacia forest on the rim of the crater. Lemala's major advantage over any other accommodation in this area, is for its quick and easy access into the crater which maximizes game viewing opportunities. The scenery is breath-taking and the wildlife is abundant therefore guest enjoy longer and significantly higher quality game drives.

The camp offers accommodation in eight luxury tents and one family tent. All spacious tent is fitted with gas heaters, large single- or king-size beds with warm duvets, wooden flooring with rugs, 24-hour solar lighting, en-suite bathrooms with dressing areas, flush toilets and large safari showers.

The mess tent is beautifully furnished with grand sofas, lamps, bookshelves, corner cabinets in old wood, chests and rugs. In the evening, guests gather around the campfire for sundowners before dining under chandeliers, which is hosted by the camp manager. The camp works closely with the local Masai community who often provide dances and talks on Masai life, their cultures, traditions and ceremonies. Guests enjoy the opportunity to interact with the Masai, learning more about their traditional lifestyles.
