From the moment you arrive your African dream begins. The beauty of staying at Leopards and Louries Lodge lies within its peace, tranquility and endless views; difficult to believe as you are only a few minutes away from Pietermaritzburg and less than an hour from Durban's sandy shores.
John Jackson, the proud owner, is a descendant of two KwaZulu-Natal colonial families. His great grandfather was Sir Frederick Moor, the first Administrator of Natal. John is a certified tour guide and offers personalised tours all over Africa and has many exciting outback stories to tell. His bed and breakfast is his expression of his undying passion for wildlife; hence the name Leopards and Louries.
The lodge is beautifully decorated in a rustic but smart style with a wildlife theme, with magnificent views overlooking the unspoilt valleys and bushveld of KwaZulu-Natal's Table Mountain in the background.
Several species of game may be spotted from the lodge and the bird life is exceptional. The bedrooms all face the view and are en-suite; each room features all the modern day essentials. Outside, the wide shaded verandas with refreshing swimming pool complete the ambiance.
This upmarket bed and breakfast is just off the N3 Highway in Camperdown, Here one can avoid the smoggy suburbs and can easily get to business meetings via the highway.
