The private unit has one en-suite bedroom with a queen-size bed and another bedroom with a single bed. The second room shares the en-suite bathroom. The rooms are comfortably furnished and well equipped to keep you warm on those cold winter nights.

The open-living area consists of a comfortable lounge and a dining area. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and braai facilities available for all your self-catering needs. The unit offers secure off-street parking and is serviced daily for added convenience.

Volksrust boasts many famous historical battle sites ranging from Majuba Hill to Laing's Nek Pass with tell-tale signs of the Boer War. Spend your days exploring the town and visiting the many curio shops and restaurants in the area. The nearby Tamatieberg is a popular paragliding venue.

Guests can enjoy a relaxed picnic at the Mahawane Dam while experiencing the peace and tranquillity of nature. Follow a hiking trail at Majuba Hill, or walk along the Slang River with its beautiful waterfalls. The quaint little town of Wakkerstroom is just a short distance away and is a haven for the avid birdwatcher.

Had some difficulty locating the site as the signs weren't up yet. (Hard to believe, being Volksrust!) But the friendly welcome more than made up for it. Crisp linen and firm bed complimented with down duvet and electric blanket resulting in a great night's rest. Cherry on top: the home made jams in the fridge!!! Would gladly recommend this self catering unit.



Little Eden is a very neat, well equip and lovely guesthouse and we would recommend it to stay at. We loved the homemade cookies and rusks that was provided by Sally the friendly hostess.

POOR SERVICE by

We got confirmation of the booking, our credit card was deducted with the full amount and when we arrived at Little Eden they said there was no booking. We then had to try and find another place to stay. Unacceptable service.
