Little Rock Holiday Resort is located in a small wooded valley surrounded by mountains. It lies in the town of Ladybrand which is on the Maloti Drakensberg Route.

The resort offers 32 shaded caravan and campsites on grass; all of the sites have electricity. Barbecue facilities are available and the sites share the use of ablution facilities with hot showers and flush toilets.

Guests can also book one of the chalets, which can sleep between two to six guests as well as the eight-sleeper house. All the units are equipped for self-catering with a stove, a microwave as well as a fridge. Each unit also has a TV and a braai area outside.

Guests can enjoy various activities on the resort such as swimming, volleyball, paintball, a trampoline, pony rides and a children's playground. The lapa has a sports bar with a Satellite TV. The area is good for birdwatching and guest can go on scenic walks in the shaded valleys with water streams and waterfalls. There are Bushmen paintings along the trails and guests can go rock climbing on the 18 bolted rocks.

Amazing by

This is an amazing little resort. Although it was cold and rainy the welcome was warm and friendly. Thanks for making us feel welcome. We enjoyed our stay and will do so again.

Peaceful surroundings by

We really enjoyed the atmosphere at Little Rock. Good price for a place that has all that it has. Beautiful mountain views especially on the top after climbing there! Will definitely consider returning next year.

Third Visit to Little Rock by

Need to train your plumber to repair taps properly. Shower and basin taps need attention. This is cheap and easy to fix. Shower floor needs re-tiling. Other than this, this accommodation was clean and good value for money.The restaurant food is great. Need a breakfast offering.

Atmosphere by

I loved the security at Little Rock Holiday Resort, However the place is too strict, no loud music is allowed at any time of the day, main gate closes at 11 pm so even when you tried to at least go out and have fun outside you are restricted to come back before 11 pm. I was disappointed even by the fact that you need to call when you arrive at the gate for you to get access in the compound, sometimes you wait for a longer period of time while waiting for the gate to be opened. The services at the reception are too slow. Honestly, the management has to work on these areas otherwise only the elderly who like quite places could make use of this place but also their safety has to be considered while waiting at the main gate to get in.

Quite a disappointment really by

It seems like the focus is the campsite is the restaurant and bar. Campsite is really run down with very little amenities for campers. No water at the campsite, no hot water in the amenities that night, but there was the next morning at some taps / showers. No toilet rolls or holders in any of the stalls. No lights / hot water at the dish washing area ( I think that is what it was. No - nothing I would recommend.
