BoulevardMargate, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa Selbstversorgung (Familieneinheiten ab R 1,060) | R 1,060 |
Nestled amongst the tropical palm trees on Margate beach, Boulevard is one of few resorts with direct access to the main beach, in the prime location at the lifeguard tower and beachside Wimpy. This is the hub of seasonal beach entertainment and everything from cocktail bars to ice-cream parlours, a selection of restaurants, nightclubs, your favourite takeaways and theme pubs are within a stone's throw. From here, the public Olympic and paddle pools are on your doorstep, and the tidal pool and newly refurbished fishing pier a stroll away.
This unit, located on the palm sheltered southern end of the resort closest to the main beach action, enjoys stunning views from the second floor across Margate's 'Golden Mile' stretch of beach all the way to the next Blue Flag beach along the coast. From your balcony watch the family tan on the beach and fish in the surf, dolphins play in the breakers, whales and ships pass close by, and the most stunning sunrises.
It sleeps six guests in three bedrooms with two bathrooms. The main bedroom is en-suite (full bathroom) and has a queen bed and excellent views, while the other two bedrooms have single beds and share a second bathroom (shower). The kitchen is fully equipped for day-to-day cooking and enjoys a dishwasher for your comfort. There is a full laundromat facility and service in the building. The open plan spacious living area has an indoor dining table and comfortable lounge area with flatscreen television with limited (upgradable) satellite channels, and opens through sliding doors onto the balcony with a gas braai and seating to enjoy the views. The unit has air-conditioning and ceiling fans throughout. It is on one level, including the nearby parking, so suitable for mobility-challenged guests.
The complex is very secure with strict access control and secure basement parking. It has direct access to the beach and the adjoining shopping centre, and although overlooking the public Olympic swimming pool, it has a smaller private pool of its own.
