Lovedale Farm Holidays gives you the most affordable self-catering accommodation in the Helmeringhausen area. Come and enjoy a relaxed and affordable stay on the oldest commercial farm in Namibia, still in the same family since 1854. Farming is still our main activity and therefore you can experience an active sheep farm on a daily basis.

We have self-catering cottages, fully equipped with bed linen, towels, fridges, stoves and everything you need in the kitchen. Each cottage has its own barbecue area.

As from 2013 we only take pre-booked reservations and unfortunately no walk-ins. So booking is essential.

We arrived late that evening 21:00 and our hosts were very friendly and helpful when we arrived. The farmhouse accommodation is neat and clean. We had a peaceful evening after a very longs days drive. We enjoyed our stay. thank you Flip Koen and family

It is ok for one night. Bedding is old and the place has no atmosphere. It needs loving care

It was fine. I would recommend if you aren't a fussy traveller. Beds are old and uncomfortable...beautiful spot though.

Louisa was an amazing hostess and spent a lot of the me chatting to us. Unfortunately, it was bitterly cold and they are undergoing renovations at the moment so our cabin wasn't quite in order. But was value for money.
