Mabalingwe Elephant Lodge 267-7 & 267-8 welcomes you to serene Mabalingwe Nature Reserve and has all needed amenities for a tranquil stay in the wild for two guests.

The units can sleep two guests each. King-size or single beds are available. The on-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet.

The quaint kitchenette is equipped for self-catering and DStv is included. Further amenities consist of an air-conditioner and smoke alarm.

Enjoy a braai or a swim in the communal pool. Mabalingwe Elephant Lodge offers it all: lion feed, horse riding, game drives, tennis courts, putt-putt etc. Parking is included and there is a lovely restaurant at the main reception. Please enquire further for conference facilities.

Mabalingwe Nature Reserve attractions include Doorndraai Dam Nature Reserve, Kololo Game Reserve, and Lapalala Wilderness.

Environment okay and indoors horrible by

Cottages aren't user friendly. They dont have space to move around. The bath/shower are like a no go area. The outside kitchen is a madness. You are indoors in your underwear and say you need a spoon for tea; now you have to go outside to the kitchen. The patio isn't at all private andthe lighting is very bad. Restaurant and game drives are top class.

Unpleasant experience by

Upon arrival we discovered that there was no cutlery available for use. I stirred my coffee (wich was also not present upon arrival) with the back of my toothbrush. The folowing morning I woke up to having no water. Not being able to brush teeth or shower or flush the toilet. The linnen on the bed had what looked like cigarette burns. Unable to satisfy my needs, i wil not be returning to elephant lodge unfortunately
