Built atop a hillside overlooking the gorgeous Selborne Estate below, The Magnificent Sunbird is situated on the upper level of a villa duplex in Pennington.

The villa has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is an open-plan lounge that leads into a six seater dining room. Adjacent to the living area is a fully-equipped kitchen.

Guests staying at The Magnificent Sunbird are invited to make use of the fabulous facilities at Selborne Park Golf Estate. Aside from the immaculate 18-hole golf course, a crystal clear swimming pool, floodlit tennis courts, children's play area with jungle gym are a few of the facilities available. The Estate Golf Club also has a restaurant & bar where delicious meals can be enjoyed daily.

Pennington offers quiet pristine beaches, magnificent bays and great flora and fauna which makes this a great destination to relax and unwind.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week. Very comfortable and well equipped with beautiful scenery over golf course. 

One night stay by

Accommodation was great and booking was relatively hassle free. Only downside was that hotel staff could not provide directions and the lighting is very poor at night, which made finding the place a little tricky. The location next to the freeway was a noisy and I think this should be reflected in the price in relation to similar accommodation. The price of food in the hotel was ridiculous, we not all paying in sterling! R150 for a 1 x curry that was nothing special was definitely not worth it. I'm still dreaming of all the pizza I could have gotten:)
