Mahale UrlaubsortGuinjata, Inhambane (Prov), Mozambique Loge (Familieneinheiten ab R 3,300) | R 3,300 |
Welcome to Mahale Resort, which is situated on the exquisite east coast of Mozambique, south of the city of Inhambane and just 485 km by road from Maputo. This is paradise, or as close as you can get to it. The aim at Mahale is to emphasize your African East Coast Experience in a safe and friendly environment. All chalets have been placed in such a way that you can enjoy a sea view from every room, see, feel and hear the ocean. Being right on the coast, an added advantage is that, virtually without fail, there will be an eastern sea breeze at the resort, just enough to cool you down in warm summers.
Settle down in the comfort of your self-contained chalet under the palm trees and relax. The intimate Mahale Resort has six luxurious self-contained chalets, all placed such that you will enjoy privacy if you so desire, but close enough to friends in a nearby chalet if that is what you prefer. Four of the units have three double rooms while the others have two rooms each, all with a large living area indoors and out.
Spacious bedrooms all open onto a roofed wooden deck giving easy access to the adjoining living area. All chalets have at least one room with a double bed and single beds in the others, all with mosquito netting for undisturbed sleep, while the large volume thatched roof and roof fans keep the bedrooms and living area cool. For your comfort, each room offers its own en-suite bathroom with shower and washbasin as well as an enclosed toilet. Furthermore, for the enjoyment of those who prefers soaking in a bath, the three bed room chalets also offer a bath which naturally comes in handy for children at bath time.
Kitchens are divided in two areas, one for food preparation and a separate wash-up area. Gas or electric stoves, crockery and cutlery, pots and pans, electric kettle and an electric fridge-freezer are standard equipment. A large work area, made from indigenous Shamfuta wood, divides the cooking area from the dining and lounge area without isolating the cooks from the other house guests. Ample space of the combined lounge and dining areas means you never need to feel crowded, especially since these areas open up to a large wooden deck overlooking the ocean. Again the emphasis is on maintaining contact with the sea, from the kitchen through to the living area and deck.
All bedrooms and the indoor living areas connect to the spacious wooden deck overlooking the ocean. This is the ideal place to cook breakfast or dinner on the gas barbeques provided in a true holiday atmosphere. Chances are that this area will become your favourite place for all purposes.
