This is a beautiful family-run hotel situated on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, on 12-acres of mature gardens with a fine variety of exotic trees and flowering shrubs. The central hotel building was once a farm house, built in the early 1900s, and has an old-world style.

Guest accommodation is provided in cottages around the grounds, varied in style and character, each with private bathrooms. Several cottages have central verandas, which are popular with small groups travelling together.

The hotel is renowned for its well-prepared menu, using fresh vegetables from its own gardens and homemade breads. A range of wines are always available. The hotel is 9 km from Himo and about 40 km from Moshi, as well as 6 km from the Kilimanjaro National Park gate.
