MAR E SOL BEWERTUNGEN (76 %) Misleading advertisement for Mar e Sol by Carin Booysen, South Africa 13 October 2014 I want to express my disappointment with the misleading advertisement on the web regarding Mar e Sol. I have looked at quite a few options, but because of the ?luxury? and facilities that Mar e Sol proposed, we decided to book a unit for our holiday. On arrival, we found that the TV was faulty and the fridge/freezer, with the built in ice maker also did not work. This may sound petty to some people, but if anyone has informed us, or draw our attention to the fact, we would have come prepared, as we have small children that cannot stay on the beach the entire day, and anyone with small children will know that when your children are happy and occupied, you, as parent, are happy and relaxed as well. Obvious no one was interested in our complaints and by going through the guest register, it was clear that we were not the first persons that were caught by the misleading advertisements. I'm not even going to mention the fact that the 10 glasses consist out of two bear glasses, 2 tumblers and 4 small plastic cups?.. Sandeep Dwarika, South Africa 16 May 2016 Great view. Just a pity about the electricity and water cuts all the time. Also, when it poured on the 22nd, bedroom no. 1 leaks very badly above the bed where the ceilings join. I had to sleep in the lounge as the bed got sopping wet. Also leaks in the lounge by the sliding doors.
All in all it was a lovely stay, thank you! Fantastic location but quality does not match price by Eleanor Hill 27 March 2018 We had a lovely stay at Mar e Sol which has a wonderful location but we were disappointed with the quality of some things - on arrival we had to wait 20 mins for the key and we had to put up out own mosquito nets. The mosquito nets were also too small and did not cover the double beds and the TV did not work. There was also no soap in the chalet!
