This guest house was built in 1904 in a Cape Dutch style and is currently the only historic house converted to a guest house in Zeerust. All the rooms were stables back in the day; now they are luxuriously renovated rooms. Every room has been tastefully decorated with emphasis on comfort and tranquility.

We can cater for private functions on request and a fully equipped conference room is available. An intimate dining room provides a setting where guests can enjoy the fine cuisine of the guest house. We offer lunch boxes and dinner packs for the early riser.

Our furniture is carefully selected, creating a charming atmosphere that complements the warmth of the bushveld. If you just want to relax and breathe in the fresh air, you can lose yourself in our beautiful garden. Special attention has been paid to security and safety. Parking is in a safe and secure area and night guards are posted on location.

Spacious unit. We really enjoyed it. Will appreciate more cutlery. But wonderful.

Beautiful old house with neat rooms and bathrooms. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. It's just sorry that the guest house is on the main lorry route to Gaberone and therefor quite noisy!

OK but by

there are a few not so good points to mention. Hot water is one - if you shower after 8 the water is cold. Our room (two single beds - one chair) was clean but tiny. Towels changed every day. The lighting in the bathroom is virtually non-existent. And, the biggest issue of all is that I booked a B&B and, as the name implies it is BED AND BREAKFAST. There is no breakfast included!!! Be careful when booking. The rate should be R550 per B/B night for 2 PAX in a room according to the receptionist if booking directly. We paid R668 through SafariNow and there was no breakfast.... hello? B&B without the breakfast - have you ever??!! The directions in the SafariNow mail were wrong! It looks as though the owners have changed - this info was also incorrect in the booking. Anyhow, while I can recommend the guesthouse - lovely setting and as I said clean and very friendly staff - be careful when booking. Hopefully the lighting and the hot water situation can be resolved.

Spacious and very quiet

Reception was very good and pro by

Shower taps did not work properly and had to be hit by hand for propper flow. Crockery can be improved in the kitchen like casserole for braai. Slept very cosy in beds. Linen and towels absolute clean.
