Melrose Guest Farm offers exceptional style, excellent value and is easily accessible on the R75. It is only 13 km from Graaff-Reinet. The farm boasts stunning views across the Karoo veld and the mountains beyond, in a tranquil setting with the most magnificent sunsets. In winter the mountains are covered with snow.

Our rooms are spacious but cosy with crisp white linen giving a luxurious touch. Rooms also offer an honesty bar fridge filled with refreshments for your enjoyment.

Birdwatchers will have a delightful time in identifying approximately 12 different bird species, and game drives are also available. Bring your mountain or quad bikes for a ride through the veld.

Enjoy genuine Karoo hospitality at Melrose Guest Farm, where guests are treated as friends. No pets allowed.

Our stay at Melrose Guest farm was perfect. The accommodation itself was perfect - clean and the cottage had everything in one might need for self-catering. The setting of the cottage was perfect - saw 2 kudu cows coming into the land to feast on the green pastures. The farm is just far enough from town but near enough to nip into town. It was perfect....

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing by

Lovely to be able to walk around the farm and enjoy the view and fresh air. Cottage is well equipped, neat and clean. We enjoyed a good night's sleep and the aircon was most welcome on a hot Karoo day!
