Nautinest is a self-catering cottage in Chintsa East with accommodation for a maximum of six people. Two of the three bedrooms are sea-facing, and the main bedroom has a door onto the sundeck. Linen and bath towels are supplied (please bring your own beach towels). The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped and includes a gas hob, electric oven, double-door fridge/freezer and a microwave. The lounge has a flat-screen TV with limited DSTV, and large folding doors that open onto the sun deck. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining counter or on the large sun deck which has a magnificent view of the bay. The deck has a wooden fence around it, but the perimeter of the cottage is unfenced. A domestic worker can be arranged at an additional cost if required.

Chintsa East is a laid-back seaside village is located 50 km from East London and 200 km from Mthatha at the start of the Wild Coast, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Nautinest is within easy walking distance of the beautiful 7 km stretch of beach, and local amenities including restaurants, a convenience store, two beauty spas, tennis courts and a bowling club. The area offers a variety of outdoor activities such as swimming; horse riding; deep-sea, surf and rock fishing; golf; hiking; mountain biking; quad biking; paddling; surfing; and child-friendly play areas. For those wanting to try out Chinta's craft beer, Emerald Vale is a must. Chintsa East is surrounded by lush indigenous forests and offers an amazing variety of bird life. The Inkwenkwezi Game Reserve, a 10-minute drive from Chintsa East, is home to the Big 5, giraffe, zebra and a variety of antelope and other predators.

Thanks we had a very good time. We enjoyed the bowls and our New Zealand children thought Crawfords was just super cheap and friendly people all round the little town!  Lovely weather, beautiful beach and rock pools accessible from our convenient basis.
