Did not make use of the restaurant facility as there was no need for the latter. two by Mandy Robb, South Africa 25 May 2014 It was lovely. Could do with a new bed. The one we slept on had a huge hollow in the middle. Could also do with a few more Dstv channnels. Not much variety @ all. Pity the Restraunt was closed :-( would love to have had a meal there! Not quite impressed by Memory Nguluwe, South Africa 21 December 2015 The lodge has potential but their service is really poor. The reception staff is not friendly and not very helpful. We were initially booked into a room that had a television that was faulty, we had to request to be changed and we were changed to another room after much hustling. The rooms could do with a little bit more hygiene. There are no shower caps, no lotion and no shampoos...it's the first time ever I've been to a lodge that does not offer these basics...
There are plenty of mosquitos and they don't fumigate. We had to go look for repellent as we had a child.
I drank coffee and saw that the cups were not cleaned even after house keeping had "cleaned" our room. Pity we had booked to stay there for four nights...we would have looked for alternative accommodation. A lot needs to be done to improve the place. Towels were not changed as well. Overall, it wasn't a comfortable stay
