Nomndeni View Lodge is an Afro-centric style, award-winning guest house situated in the upmarket suburb of Steiltes in Nelspruit. The lodge offers comfortable rooms fitted with the finest details to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable one. The property has an amazing view over the majestic Lowveld landscape and has a great viewing deck with a swimming pool and barbecue facilities.

The lodge features large gardens and patios with extensive views. Freshly prepared breakfast is served every morning in the dining hall, with other meals available upon request. The Kruger National Park, where you can see the Big 5, is just a short drive from the hotel.

It was very relaxing, peaceful and exactly what we needed. Will recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

There were things not working/missing in the room. Window not closing, no dustbin in room. No rail in the bathroom for hanging towels. No blinds on the bathroom window. No hangers in the lower section of the wardrobe. TV no working on Wednesday evening.Ceiling cones not fitted all round in the bathroom.No water friday morning.

Our stay in Nelspruit was great.

Bad service by

The Lodge itself is very nice and beautiful, but the service very bad. Reception was good. Restaurant - no service and limited stock. Only 5 beers on Friday - no coke. Saturday breakfast - tables were still dirty from previous night. No clean glasses for juices. Chef searching for for knives for us to have breakfast - and breakfast not up to standard. Only one egg and small sausage and bacon for R55. It seems that the chef is a cleaner and waiter as well. The music was loud Saturday morning. Saturday night, we needed to buy water, no water available. On Friday evening there were no service and no waiter at a stage in the bar/dining room. We needed some drinks with nobody to help us. It seems to be that there is no supervision at all. We will not stay at Nomndeni again. We will make use of other lodges if we will visit Nelspruit again. Nomndeni is suppose to be a four star.
