Nyati Pools is a secluded and peaceful self-catering camp where buffalo graze, gentle giraffe grace the planes and the antelope linger amongst the bush. This quaint little camp is one of the three camps nestled within the 2000-hectare game paradise.
It is back to the basics for the more adventurous of spirit, where nature is up close and personal in this tented living experience. Your campfire and paraffin lights provide the ambiance. The reserve includes the confluence of the Mozambanga and Klaserie rivers with a number of well-marked walking trails leading between the dense trees and along the dry beds.
The camp and tents are serviced daily and linen is provided. There are also toilet facilities and hot showers situated between the tents and full kitchen facilities are provided including fridges, freezers, gas stoves and all utensils. At night time, your camp attendant will assist with your needs at the camp.
Nyati Pools lies on the banks of the Mozambanga River, in the heart of Big 5 country. A visit to this wilderness with its varied wildlife, breathtaking scenery and rich vegetation creates and intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Bird life is abundant and the reserve is richly endowed with a range of smaller mammal species, reptiles and insects that offer hours of fascination in return for a little patience. Nyati Pools is also home to a wide variety of game, including buffalo and leopard.
