Melissa's Guest House is the ideal stop over from Swakopmund on your way to Opuwo or the Etosha National Park.Guests can relax in one of our 18 en-suite rooms after their long journey. In the evening we serve dinner from 6 pm until 8 pm which you can enjoy in our peaceful garden or restaurant. During the day you can also have a nice lunch and enjoy a cold beer for stop over before you drive further. When staying at Melissa's Guesthouse you can visit the himba village or peet alberts rock engravings.

Excellent by

We had a fantastic, if short, stay at Oase Garni in the midst of a gruelling road trip around Namibia. The end of a long, if stunning, day's driving from Swakop saw my friend and I arrive into Kamanjab in need of a beer and a good night's sleep. Welcomed at the door of the guest house by owner Eben, we were swiftly shown to our excellent and comfortable room, before being treated to a superb meal of oryx steak and garlic bread. The place was bustling and friendly, the beer was cold, the Wi-Fi was fast, and what else can I add? Stay here.

the middle of nowhere and hot ! by

Very small, dark room, no AC, no kettle, no fridge.
Lovely pool.  The diner was great, but took houres to prepare.  Stepping in the kitchen is like going back a century !   The bar had very little choice, almost no wine. 
There is little or no competition out here,.. So ...
But we had a good time and a quiet night.


Excellent food & a good overnight place by

At arrival we were a bit unsure about the outside parking, but with Kamanjab barely more than a dot on the map and the security guard looking after our loaded camping vehicles overnight, we felt safe leaving them at the entrance and chilling out.
We dipped our hot feet in the nice cold pool and received good service from arrival to departure. The food was excellent and their main chef wasn't even in town.
Clean comfy beds, and to say the shower was divine, understated. Just don't get the scare of your life early morn when the pipes are cold and rattles against the walls, but even that gave us a bit of a laugh later on.
For what we expected, it certainly delivered and we wouldn't mind staying here again. New management has certainly turned this place around :D
