Pafuri Rivercamp offers a rustic tented tree-house camp and secluded bush camp on the banks of the Mutale River, a tributary to Limpopo. It is located in rural Venda, next to Makuya Nature Reserve and 4 km from the Pafuri Gate of the Kruger Park.

The lodge consists of five private camps, from two to eight beds per camp, each with its own ablutions, kitchen, braai area and river frontage.

Enjoy exploring, birding, walking, or just relax in the friendly and informal atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back. Self-cater in the privacy of your own site. Sip an ice cold drink at our bush pub or on the pool deck. An ideal stopover en-route through Kruger Park, Zimbabwe or Mozambique. Come and live in the bush for a while.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - wonderful ambience, accommodation basic, but fun, food more than adequate, will certainly recommend to anybody requiring accommodation in the area.

Pafuri river experience by

What a way to spend some time in the bush. The monkeys wake you up in the morning, jumping on your tent. Thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there, Glynn and company are great hosts, spend some time chatting to them sitting at the pub. Kruger Park just next door with great views of northern bushveld and lots of elaphants, crocodiles and other game. The food at pafuri is great, the camp is kept tidy and clean and there are some great bush walks, scenery around the camp.

Tranquility at its best! by

The accommodation was neat and clean. Cash is not easily available in the area, so make sure that you take cash along if you plan on using the restaurant or the bar during your stay. Though the lunch menu is limited, the food was excellent!

Teryn voor die tent is ongelyk en baie ongemaklik die ander tente is goed geplaas Dit was baie basies en diens van personeel was omtrend niks nie het tent verander as wat oorspronklik bespreek was en was swakker as wat bespreek was was enigste mense in kamp van die 6/1/2018

Comfortable and clean accommodation. Guided birding walk was worth every cent.

I spent one night there and will be back for sure. The campsite is very well thought, maintained, quiet and placed.
