Palm View Loge

Palm View Lodge is a self-catering lodge situated at Barra Beach, Inhambane, Mozambique. The lodge is built on the side of a west facing dune, overlooking the estuary with a view of the sea to the north. As the sun sets, the view is one of the best Barra has to offer.



The lodge compromises of two timber houses, each with three bedrooms and capable of sleeping eight persons. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, a shower, a basin and a toilet. A second bathroom has a shower, a basin and a toilet and is shared with the remaining two bedrooms. An open-plan spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything that one will need.

The main living area, leads onto a deck where one can sit back, relax and take in the sunset on a drink after a day at the beach. All bedrooms are equipped with fans. Mosquito nets are available for all beds with linen and towels supplied. Guests are only required to bring their own beach towels and food. Due to the risk of fire, no open fires are allowed. A gas braai is available for use by guests during their stay.
