We are also just 45 km away from the Addo Elephant Park, making us an ideal stopover en route from Port Elizabeth, with numerous view stops along the way. The town itself was founded in 1804 so it has a rich history which is demonstrated in a number of old buildings that are maintained in excellent condition. These include building such as the town hall, the Drosdy and the court house. Victorian and settler architecture add to the town's historical attraction.

Just what we needed by

Our unit at Parkview was spacious, comfortable and had everything that we needed. The shower room took some getting used to with the shower leaving the floor around the toilet and basin wet but did not spoil our stay. Will definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and neat. The braai area was not acceptable. Dirty braais with old ash, dirty chairs and tables.
