Picardi Guest Rooms offers a comfortable stay in the oasis town of Upington. With so much on offer and the warm hospitality, Picardi Guest Rooms is the ideal stopover on your trip or drive through the area.

The guest house offers a choice of four lovely rooms, each air-conditioned for those hot days. The rooms are furnished with a combination of comfortable double or single beds, TVs with DStv as well as tea and coffee facilities. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, except the Family Room which also has a bath. Guests can enjoy a lovely breakfast in the morning and conference facilities are available.

The Orange River runs through Upington and offers a major source of relaxation and entertainment for travellers and locals alike. Guests can go fishing, boating and waterskiing. Golfers can enjoy the Upington Golf Course, guests can visit the South African Dried Fruit Factory where freshly packed dried fruit can be bought and the wine connoisseurs can spend the day at The Orange River Wine Cellars. Upington is situated within a short drive of the Augrabies Falls and other attractions include Die Eiland, Spitskop Nature Reserve and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

Friendly hostess but basic accommodation by

Karen is a friendly hostess and provided us with a packed breakfast which we pre ordered. The room was clean but very basic with no where to sit either inside or out. The setting of the communal rooms and pool did nothing to attract us into them. At R800 for the 2 of us for 1 night we felt it was very overpriced.
