Pirates Lodge Luxurious Executive Guesthouse is 20 kilometers from Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth on the banks of the majestic Swartkops River in the picturesque hamlet of Amsterdamhoek. This is the ideal stopover for Business Travellers and Leisure Tourists alike.

All rooms are furnished with king size beds and have en-suite bathrooms with a shower and bath as well as his & hers basins. A small bar fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, hairdryer, flat-screen TV with DSTV, Wi-Fi and aircon are also available in the rooms.

Amsterdamhoek is a mecca for the fishing and watersports enthusiast who are more than welcome to make use of our private jetty. The pristine main beach is only a five minute walk from the lodge. Our quaint village has two nature trails within the Aloes Nature Reserve with fabulous wildlife and regular flamingo spotting, The Dawid Stuurman International Airport is a mere 23 kilometers away and the Addo Elephant National Park is an effortless 20 minute drive from Pirates.

A plethora of fabulous and hip dining establishments and clubs are available on the PE/Gqeberha Beachfront, easily accessible on the N2 Highway. For the adrenalin junkie, the area offers dune-boarding, zip-lining , quad-biking and for the more sedate , leisurely walks exploring the beach and estuary, river cruises or admiring the sunset from the verandah are on the agenda.
