Situated on the R355 between Springbok and Kliprand, Platbakkies is the ideal stay-over for tourists exploring our very unique region of Namaqualand. As the African sunsets, the Milky Way welcomes you to the most silent night. Soon the farm animals will wake you for another adventurous day.

Our old, but restored farmhouse, offers three double rooms with everything you need for your stay. Our farm kitchen is open for orders or you can suit yourself with self-catering. Guests will have access to anything they would like to explore on our farm. Choose from a range of activities or just calm down and enjoy the farm sounds and atmosphere.

Join the farmer for a day of farming, do a mountain bike trail, go on a game drive, look for a new bird specimen or succulent, relax, and at night we deliver a traditional plate of "Boerekos" if you wish.
