Situated in the CBD of Polokwane, the Polokwane Royal is a luxury hotel that offers guests a high standard of accommodation and state of the art conference facilities.

The hotel consists of 50 comfortably furnished rooms, fitted with bar fridges, TVs, air-conditioning and tea and coffee-making facilities. There are four conference rooms, equipped with audio visual media, which are able to accommodate from 80 to 350 people. Wedding and banqueting functions can also be catered for. There is also a restaurant on the premises.

A small swimming pool is situated in a courtyard to the rear of the building, and is ideal for cooling off on hot days. There is ample secure parking on the property, which is monitored by close circuit TV.

I spent two nights over a weekend with 2 small children. Our room was perfect, comfortable and clean. The children would have liked a cartoon Tv channel.
I have only one complaint........perhaps put signs up to remind guests to be considerate of other guests after 10 pm. The shouting when talking and general loud banter down the passages and banging of doors put me off. 


not satisfed by

it my first time visiting the royal hotel and my visit was not pleasant, I bathed with cold water in the morning because there was no hot water and it was 6c in the morning, not acceptable.

No hot water by

I did a booking for two rooms on Mon 6 June 2016. Everything was great until the next morning where both rooms had no hot water. From your other reviews I see that this was not the first time a guest has had this problem. It was the middle of winter and no hot water to bath or shower in. Not impressed. We travel to Polokwane on business every couple of months and always stayed somewhere else. The hotel looks so good from the outside that we thought that we would try it. After the cold water issue we will stick to our other accommodation that we have always used. The rooms are comfortable though.
