Situated in the Province of Inhambane, halfway between Vilanculos and Inhambane, Pomene is a remote piece of paradise with kilometres of untouched beaches and crystal clear waters. Pomene View Lodge is located on a high ridge overlooking a unique and pristine mangrove system with panoramic views of the estuary and the Indian Ocean beyond. The lodge is just a ten minute drive down to the beach.

This family owned and operated lodge along the coastal region of Mozambique offers a relaxed, friendly and personal atmosphere with wonderful brick and thatch self-catering chalets, fully equipped and serviced, ideal for groups or families travelling together.

After a busy day, sit back and relax with a sun downer on the deck, which has a spectacular view of the estuary. Then sit back and share the day's adventures with the other guests in the bar. There is also our restaurant, or our communal braai area, to enjoy with new friends.
