Pool House und Basement FlatNairobi National Park, Nairobi County, Kenya Jugendherberge (Familieneinheiten ab R 2,140) | R 2,140 |
Founded in 1981 the Kitengela Glass sanctuary has long been a neighbour of the Nairobi National Park, and offers a retreat for art and nature lovers, looking for an escape from day to day routines and a place to feel uplifted.
Surrounded by indigenous plants and a medley of domestic animals that ramble around the compound, the pool house and basement flat offers an artistic homestead for guests, and give one a sense of renewed and restored living.
Both have been rustically furnished and can be rented in conjunction for groups of six or more. Inside rooms interlink via rounded stone walls and wooden fittings, enlightened by each unique glass window over two levels.
There's no doubt that Kitengela Glass will enliven you, what with its myriad of sculptures, glass art, and variety of animals that roam freely, you will leave feeling renewed, relaxed and more importantly inspired.
