The district is renowned for its natural beauty, trout waters and walks and is surrounded by the tourist attractions of the Southern Drakensberg, all within easy access of the hotel or if you so wish by a trained tour guide. Guests can enjoy fishing as well as golfing, hiking, horse-riding, tennis, bowls and squash and the famous Premier Hotel Sani Pass, nearby. A truly comfortable base from which to explore the beauty of Himeville and the magical surrounds of the Drakensberg. From fine dining to relaxing sundowners, guests can enjoy breath taking views of the Drakensberg Mountains. Premier Hotel Himeville Arms is home to the historic Himeville Arms Pub and serves a wide selection of draughts, craft draughts and local wines. This was the poorest experience of a hotel room we have ever had! The building is falling apart (brandering of the ceiling was seperated from the wall) and the room was dirty. The carpet was dirty and had holes burned into. The room was cold and the fireplace was inefficent. No electric heater or electric blanket were availlable. We were, however, supplied with additional firewood. The hot water supply was very good! The service in the restaurant was so slow, that we had to abandon it.

Cosy room, friendly staff by

We stayed in a room with a fireplace, very comfortable. Pub/bar is a local gathering point to watch sports events on TV/Satelite.

Nice stay by

We enjoyed our stay with our guests from Netherland in an old English atmosphere with very nice staff and good meals.

Backpackers rooms by

The backpackers room was expensive for what was provided, there were no kitchen facilities except for an outside fireplace and a kettle, also no heating of the room
The septic tanks in the back garden were also overflowing and smelt bad
